Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
Commission bonus after termination of employment
If an employee that receives commission bonuses terminates their employment, then are they still entitled to receiving commission compensation for contract work that occurs AFTER their termination? In this instance, no provisions state how this is handled in the employment contract.

Re: Commission bonus after termination of employment
It's not clear from your question what kind of contract work and under what circumstances you would be doing it after termination.
However, if in fact this did happen with the knowlege and consent of both you and your former
employer, you should be compensated according to the terms of the original contract, unless, somehow, this contract has been superceded by
another one, oral or written, which you have failed to mention.
