Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

If our company is based in Maryland, but I work in Virginia, do they have to follow MD labor laws?

I'm looking to leave my job and its a MD law to pay out accrued vacation time...but not a VA law.

Everyone who has left the company who lives in MD has had their vacation paid out, so if they pay some vacation out...don't they have to pay it out to everyone even if VA laws apply?

No, probably not, but you could still demand it.
