Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Can a company opt out of a legal contract, because my contract was signed from April 1 thru June 30th, but the company told me my last day will be June 11th. Do they still have to pay me for the remainder of the month?

Without reviewing the contract, it would be difficult to say for certain, but, probably the answer is, no, the company would not have to pay you for his period.
