Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

confused termination

my boss rehired me after 14 yrs. he held a grudge on me for quiting on him yrs ago. he should not have rehired me.

he never talked to me unless he had to. made me feel really uncomfortable. he made hateful remarks to me and made me feel discriminated against.

he got mad at me one day and told me to leave. he called me out, away from everyone else and told me to leave. that is his way of firing, as he does this all the time to alot of other employees. he knows what he is doing, protecting himself. i left.(he has a really bad temper, so i did not push it)

now he tells everyone that he did not fire me, but i walked out on my own. i dont know what to do. he intimidated me and tore my nerves all to pieces when i worked for him. then he tells me to leave, but he did not fire me.

is there anything i can do?

Re: confused termination

Probably not, if all this occurred in the Commonwealth of Virginia and you had no contract

or collective bargaining agreement to protect you against such arbitrary action and/or you do not

fit into one of the protected categories under federal anti-discrimination law.
