Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I am a contractor in Afghanistan on a 5 year "At-Will" contract. My employer came to us today and stated they were taking away our sick days from 14 to 5. I stated that it was in my acceptance letter that I get 14, the HR directors reply was I can take you into the Program Managers office right now and we'll re-write your acceptance letter, you can either accept it or go home. Is this legal?

Would seem to depend upon the legal implications of
your "At Will" contract, i.e., if it can be canceled at anytime
by either party without penalty nor any adverse consequences for either, then the HR guy is probably correct (in my opinion).
