Descrease in salary
On June 11, 2002, my CEO called me and said because of economic conditions, that my salary needs to be decreased $2,000 a month. I just had to agree and gave no input. I did not say anything at that time, but I have notice in my employment agreement, that it states in the salary and benefits section, that: ''The Company agrees that the base salary shall not be reduced.'' The agreement also states in the NOTICES section, that all notices and other communications provided...shall be in writing''.
Is there any legal ways for me to obtain from the employer the last 4 months of decrease in salary amount, $8000.

Based only on the facts you have given, the short answer is, yes. That having been said however, a review of the entire employmnet contract would be necessary to make sure you are on solid legal ground and then you would need to decide if it is in your best interests to take your employer on, over this issue.
