Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I had a doctor's note for light duty after foot surgery. However, I lost my job because my employer demanded for me to return after 2 weeks. Now I do not receive unemployment money because they said I quit. Doctors note stated 4-6 weeks if on my feet all day.

Well, file your claim with the VEC, contesting your employer's claim

that you voluntarily quit your position.
