Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Documents

An recent ex-employer gave me a letter when he fired me. In the letter it stated all these untrue reasons. I am going to take this person to court for numerous reasons. I know that I can request documents after I file in court for a hearing. I would like to know though, if I can request proof of all these reasons he fired me prior to filing in court. To make sure I have a case.

Thank you.

Re: Documents

You would be well advised to consult first with an attorney who knows labor and employment law

as it's currently interpreted and practiced in Virginia, "to make sure that you have a case."

(Bring along the letter with all the untrue reasons.)
