Go to: www.virginia.gov website; click on link to Virginia Department of Labor & Industry, Labor & Employment Division--link to Wage & Hour branch and see what it can tell you. Unless you're a so-called salaried employee, the rules of the U.S. Department of Labor require that all non-salaried, hourly wage employees, must be compensated at a rate of time and one half for all hours worked in excess of 40 in any given week.
