My spouse suffered a stroke recently. His employer insisted he come to work rather than allow him the opportunity to seek the necessary medical attention he needed. What do we do now?

Unless your spouse is protected by a valid contract
of employment for this type of situation, he very likely is without a remedy, meaning, he either reports to work or faces likely termination.
