Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I want to know if an employer can force you to take a lunch if you prefer not to? It was allowed in the past. Now because no one wants to take the time to enter the information in the computer, they will not allow it. I have a disease called Lupus and I get ill if I am in the sun too long so I try to get indoors asap.

Unless you're covered by a valid contract of employment

which protects you on this issue, I would conclude that, yes,

your employer very likely "can force you to take a lunch if you

prefer not to".
