Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I have an employer whom promised a particular bonus all year based on my gross profit of parts. Then in mid December they came to me and said that My bonus figure was incorrect because they were hiding money from the IRS and my bonus would be a third of what it was suppose to be. Do I have legal right to sue them for the full amount of my bonus

Sure, you could sue, but may not win and could lose your job at the same time.
