Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
Does and employer in VA or anywhere have the right to hire someone and withold two weeks of their pay and not even tell them they are going to do it. You don't get paid until one month and then for only two weeks and that's when they tell you they are doing this.

As long as the employee eventually gets the pay that is due for these two weeks, I see nothing to prevent it (unless there was a contract which prohibited such practice).
