Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I am an ex-pat that worked in Iraq for a company out of Virginia. I live in California. When I left the company I had 218 hours of vacation and personal leave time. I have pay statements showing my hours. I have contacted the company several times and recieved the run around, now they won't answer my emails. Do they owe me compensation for those hours? If so, how do I get them to respond and pay?

Your claim for compensation for accrued vacation and personal leave time would likely not be enforceable under Virginia law unless they were part of a valid and enforceable contract of employment with this company which covered your time of employment at issue.
