Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
Can I fire a new employee on the grounds that he works too slowly? Also, I have caught him Facebooking and texting on the job.

Sure, you can send this slacker packing at any time, unless, of course,
you've hired him pursuant to a contract which protects him from summary dismissal and allows for his termination only "for cause".
