Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I was fired without any documentation of what I was fired for. I had a good yearly evaluation and was promoted as well. I could not see a client as thet were out of town. I told my boss and I was eventaully fired. I don't know if he wanted me to falsify documents but that would be the only way I could have kept my job. I have documentaion about my work performance and references within the company. Do I have a case for wrongful termination?

Only if you were protected against such summary dismissal by an enforceable
