Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I was fired by my employed and try to get unemployment. After our hearing i was denied unemployment.
I was fired for one unexcused absence, It says in the employee handbook you can be fired after three unexcused absence the appeal hearing is in a couple days.
Any advice...

So, cite the handbook in support of your claim that there
was "insufficient cause" under their own rules for the company to fire you.
I would not, however, plan on any expenditures (if I were you)
any time soon based upon your receiving this unemployment compensation benefit.
