FLMA - second request in 1 school year
I had emergency surgery in September and returned 3 weeks late. NOW in January I tore a tendon and it needs to be replaced. Can I request FLMA for a different problem now. I head someone got in ''trouble'' and fired for using 2 in one school year.

Correction: Instead of calendar year, the previous answer should read in "any given 12 month period", per
Sec.102(a)(1)of the FMLA.
