Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
Ok here goes
I had recently started a new job and I informed her that my husband was coming home from Overseas and I didnt want to start working until he left and that I would call to let her know when to. I was put on the schedule without notice and when I came back to work I was terminated. Is that right?

No, not necessarily right, but a relfection of the employee's reality
who works without the protection of a contract in an employment
at will jurisdiction such as the Commonwealth of Virginia.
