Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
Hired for 40 hours
All the employees were hired for 40hours whether it be 8 hours 5days or 4 10 hour days a week.
All the employees have signed documentation. Now they are trying to cut hours and we were promised 40 hours. Can they do this even with signed documentation?

Certainly, unless you're working under a valid contract which provides otherwise, and I assume that the "signed documentation" to which you refer does not qualify as such.
