Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I was hired about 13 year ago without have a degree and have been promoted over years without having a degree. In recent years the company has changed its rquirements that anyone they hire needs to have a degree. Can I be fired for not have a degree. I have never lied or misled anyone about me education level.

Yes, you can be fired at any time by your employer for almost any reason that doesn't violate federal antidiscrimination laws unless you're working under a contract of employment or collective bargaining type of agreement that affords protection against such summary termination.(The vast majority of Virginia employees, of course, have no such protection which is typical of employment at will jurisdictions such as the Commonwealth.)
