Can a hospital require one to work 12 hr. shifts? If not, can they make one work 12 hr. shift on the weekend? Thank you.

Yes, I believe they can unless the affected employee is
working under the protection of a contract or collective bargaining type of
agreement that would prohibit such practices on the part of the hospital.
