hostile work envirment

I am custer sevvice represenative, taking inbound calls MY employeer has a policy off immdeiate termination if you hang up on a caller. Recently a caller cursed and used racial slurs to one off my collegues...she hungup and was fired. My question is that is mt employeer allowing a hostile work place by demading that we be subject to racial, ethnic or gender slurs?

No, a hostile work environment must be proven to be caused either by direct actions of the employer or employees themselves in the workplace environment which adversely affect one or more employees. The scenario that you've described would not, I believe, qualify under these criteria.
