Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Impersonate as a woman to apply a job

Is it lawful for a man to impersonate as a woman to apply a job? The job is fit for men or woman. The impersonate person has changed the name to a female name but did not change the organ from male to female. Is this a felony, misdeamor, or nothing at all?

Re: Impersonate as a woman to apply a job

If the man were applying for a government job, it could possibly be a crime to falsify information on the employment application. However, if it involved a position in private industry, I would doubt that that would be the case, but, such falsification would certainly suffice as grounds to disqualify the applicant from consideration for the job, if nothing else.
