Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
My job is trying to say I have to work Friday night (until roughly 1 a.m.) and be back at 7 a.m. for breakfast and then have to return later that evening for dinner. By law, isn't it required I get 8 hours of rest?

No, no such requirement under the labor laws of the Commonwealth
or the federal government as far as I am aware (assuming you're older than age 16).
