Can an employer require a CANDIDATE to proved copies of ID's ( drvs lisc. SS Card) prior to the candidate actually being hired. I.E a offer has been made but pre employment screening has not been processed. Is there some sort of law that says an employer can not REQUIRE copies of ID's? We are a national Company with locations in every state.
