Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

layed off for not having a liscence?

I work as a manager for a pizza store. We were recently bought out by another company. This new company has informed me that if I do not get a liscence by december 1st, I am going to be laid off. I feel I am being discriminated against for not driving. Do I have any basis for this claim?

Re: layed off for not having a liscence?

No, you do not, and, furthermore, the requirement

that a pizza store manager be able to drive seems quite reasonable (in my opinion).
