Do I have a legal case?

Can my employer fire me if I am still under my doctors care even after my 12 weeks of FMLA is up?

If your 12 weeks of FMLA leave is up, and you cannot for whatever reason resume your former position or a similar one with your employer, the company is not legally obligated under FMLA to provide you with any further leave.
