Is it legal for an employer to fire an employee because they do not want to take a lunch break after working more than 6hrs.?

Yes, in the Commonwealth and other so-called employment at will jurisdicitions, an employee can be fired with impunity for almost any reason that doesn't violate federal antidiscrimination laws.
