Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I went out on medical leave with my job that I had been with for 11 yrs. The leave was for about 2 weeks. I gave my job my drs note on the 11th of March and that afternoon my boss called me and told me he was posting my job online. The policy states they have to have a full time position posted for 10 days before filling it. I had a big problem with them posting my job because at the end of last year I was out for approximately 2 months due to surgery and my job was never posted. I felt like they were pushing me out the door. I ended up quitting on the 14th and contacted human resources several times since with no response. Is there anything I can do legally?
