Can I get paid if company has fake address?

I have been working for an online writing company--essaywriters.net. I have recently come to realize that they are fraudulent, after having a great deal of trouble with them, and investigating them more. They still owe me $366 and with the information i have gathered, i fear i will have no recourse, since i suspect they are not even on American soil. But they are cheating writers. They state that their office is located in Herndon VA, but someone called a business next door and they had never heard of them.
