Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I am a partner in a S corporation -- my group wants me to sign a document of work expectations that is not in my or any other partners contract.. Should I sign and can they force me?

Even without knowing who "my group" might be, if I were you, I would sign

nothing related to the matter until first discussing it with an attrorney who is independent of this S corporation and is in no way involved with the matter.
