A private school in Virginia requires employees to sign a one-year contract. What if employee resigns prior to completing the year term? Lots of outs in the contract for the employer. What about the employee?

Best to arrange for a consultation with a local attorney to review this contrat and advise you
accordingly as to what these "outs", i.e., exceptions might be for this school's employees under
this particular contract of employment.
