Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
Hello, I have a question about rights of an employee.
If a employee of a company was accused of stealing money over a voided reciept only. By law can the shift manager take the employees whole pay check and to pay the amount they feel was stolen instead of referring to video servalance and gathering more information to prove the money was taken? Even tho the employee expressed they did not steal anything

The employee whose paycheck was taken in the manner described should be able to sue with some hope of success the shift manager and the store for the funds that were taken if they can offer no credible proof of the theft alleged.
