Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

i have recently gotten kidney stones and a kidney infection . i went to the doctor they put me out of work for 2 days . i have been calling out due to the pain and illness that comes along with kidney stones and a kidney infection . i have been hearing from co workers that my supervisor has been telling people im fired. what can i do to protect my self from wrongful termination

Probably, very little, unless you've already applied for and been approved (or that could be approved) for leave applicable to the situation described under the Family & Medical Leave Act or you are already in fact protected

under an enforceable contract of employment governing emergency leaves of

absence from work such as you've described.
