Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Relocation

My Job told me that I have to relocate to a new work location. The new location is across state lines and is 55 miles from my current work location. Can they terminate me if I do refuse to change locations? Do they have to offer me a relocation package(moving expense coverage) to move? Can I collect unemployement if they terminate me over not moving? They recently told another manager if she did not relocate she would be forced to resign, is this legal?
