Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I rent a parking space owned by my company but they also rent to others that are not employees. I left a not so friendly note on a car that was parked in my space. The lot is posted that violators will be towed. The company does not police the lot, it is up the the individual. The note somehow got to my supervisor and now she has contacted HR They have interviewed me and have informed me that some type of disciplinary action is forthcoming. I have been employed with this company for over 30 years and I have never had any type of reprimands. What type of rights do I have to reject this and what should be my next course of action?

If you are currently working without the protection that a contract or collective

bargaining type of agreement might afford for such a situation, you

likely have virtually no rights at all in the matter and probably will have to

take what may come from the incident, so to speak, if you wish to continue

with your current employer in the employment at will jurisdiction known

as the Commonwealth of Virginia.
