Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Retroactive notes?

I have an employer who is asking for doctors notes for the past three years. I have been receiving allergy shots weekly leaving at 4pm Fridays and making up my time during lunch and so forth (salary) Do I have to provide a note since I provided one up front (they lost it) and now they are harrassing me for a retroactive note....can they do this...please help.
