Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I am a RN in a hospital in NC. I signed a contract for the hospital to pay for my schooling with the agreement that I will work for them for 3 years. It states that if I break this agreement I will have to repay the TOTAL cash plus interest on the day that I leave. What can happen to me If i leave and I am unable to pay. By the way if I get fired I have the same responsibility. What can they do to me. The hospital has changed the way they do everything in the ER and made it unsafe physically and a unsafe medical practice.

The hospital could sue you and possibly get a judgment against you for the balance owed on the loan which then could be enforced throught the garnishment of your wages or seizure of your bank account(s).
