i am salary how many hr do i have to work over my 40,and at witch point the company has to pay overtime?

Under U.S Department of Labor rules/regulations (also recognized by Virginia
Department of Labor & Industry) only hourly compensated employees (as opposed to salaried) are entitled to be compensated time and one half
for all hours worked in excess of 40 in any given work week.
