Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Salary Internal Alignment

We have a pay compensation plan and my residency seems to be left out. Can HR or my Resident Engineer deny us a raise (even though I have 10 yrs with company excellent work record) and give others in the district increases when they are above median salary and I am $5000 below. We have a internal salary alignment clause in the plan but they don't abide by it. My residency is making what others were in 1999. Please help.

Re: Salary Internal Alignment

Unless your pay compensation plan(or the provision that should apply to you)has been incorporated within an enforceable contract, it

would appear that you have no means to compel your

company to pay the compensation which you believe that you should be currently receiving.
