Re: Being Set Up
You may very well be a victim of subtle age discrimination in your employment which, if true,
would be a violation of federal law(Age Discrimination in Employment Act) and a basis for you to bring suit in federal court against your employer.
However, to succeed in this type of lawsuit, it
is vitally important to have detailed and credible documentation. Therefore, you should be documenting on a day to day basis each event, no matter how small, which you believe may indicate this discrimination againsy you on the part of the company and/or its agents and employees. And you should, also, to the extent possible, recollect and chronologically summarize in writing all the past events which you believe may tend to prove any bias against you in your employment which could reasonably be interpreted to be based upon your age.
And, if this course of conduct on the part of your employer continues or in fact worsens, you may well want to retain an attorney who is knowledgeable in labor and employment law issues.
