Severance compensation

I recieved the final severance check from my employer. They made a large error in the final payment (approximately $155,000 mistake). What are my legal responsibilities in this matter?

Your "legal reponsibilities in this matter" are quite simple: You must return that part of the severance pay to which you're not entitled.
