Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
My son was required to work a shift until midnight and be back at work at 6 hours later at 6am......is this legal.

Yes, very likely so, unless your son is age 14 or 15 and the work was performed
on a school day when by law it must be limited to no more than 3 hours for
minors is this particular age bracket on school days.
