Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Terminated discrimination

I have been with comp 5 yrs, i have been told they need a man in chg (i was office mgr)(comp is foreign owned) owners promote sales rep to office mgr a few months ago. i am 55 yr old female he is in 30s. I have complained to owners of harrasment & was told maybe i deserved it, nothing was done. The harrassment has worsened. On Friday i was told via several emails to put a file on his desk before leaving the office, I replyed & verbally told him as he passed directly by it where it was. At 5pm i left the bldg. he chased/ran after me YELLING to come back in & put the file on his desk. As i was getting into my car, he is yelling if you do not come back in & put that file on my desk dont bother to come in on mon. (there was a witness to all of the above) I do not know if he has the authority to fire me. the owner of the company is due to come in office on mon, do i go in? was I fired? do i have a sex & age descrimination suit? If i do not go in on mon do i go in this weekend & collect my personal items with a witness? How should i react in my best interest?

What you have described may well be harassment, but based upon these few facts it would not appear to be of the kind which implicates federal antidiscrimination law.
