Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I was terminated from my job on June 1. They told me it was for making a couple of mistakes and for using the internet during working hours. I know for a fact that I was not the only one that made any mistakes. Everyone there has made at least one. And I only used the internet during lunch, which we were told we could. Several other employees use the internet during work hours. I do have proof of this. I was the only one to get fired for this. I also found out that on the day that I was fired, another employee was crying about not liking her job, and now she has the position I held. Do I have a case against this employer?

No, not unless you were working under an enforceable contract of employment (in my opinion).
