Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

travel pay

I worked for Icings by Claire's until a month ago. Last March and April at my district managers request I traveled from Lynchburg to Roanoke to work, at 4 different times. I was to receive .23 a mile for this travel. I filled out the forms for this and still haven't received this money. The total I am owed is $95.68. I have called many times and never receive a call back. I do not have my copies of the travel slips as my district manager took them, she now states that they were lost. I requested new forms, this has not been done. The store punches can be accessed and will show the days I was at the Roanoke location. I still know the dates I traveled. What can I do at this point to get this money that is owed to me? I am not the only staff member who is experiencing this problem.

Re: travel pay

You could attempt once again to get new forms and submit them or file your case in small cliams court against your former employer for $95.68 + the cost of the filing fee.
