Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Is true that if employee is on probationary period, he/she can't given any written certification such as verification of your employment? is emailing an employer asking for a verification of employment , considered as crossing the border and requesting for a lesser hours (since i supposed to work 11 hrs from Mon-Sat) for at least 10 hrs /day is not a compliance to the terms & conditions as discussed upon hiring and can these be valid reasons to terminate an employee?

thank you,

margie

For a probationary employee in Virginia, an employer generally doesn't

need a reason to terminate an employee which in fact is actually the

situation beyond the probationary period unless the employee

is protected from summary dismissal by a valid contract of employment.
