Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

I typed a letter response in accordance with 60.2-625 because I found no standard form for appealing denial of unemployment benefits to the circuit court. Do you know if the circuit court will accept the signed document or is there a need for it to be notarized?

The referenced statute says nothing regarding a requirement for notarization

of whatever the "aggrieved party" utilizes to "commence an action" for judicial

review of the Commission's decision in the appropriate circuit court.

What is important is whether the document you've prepared has the

necessary components outlined in this statute, including the grounds

for the judicial review.
