Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
I was on Unemployment. I got a job, but, in a few days I quit because I did not agree with certain things. I told the Unemployment that I quit and they began sending me my weekly checks. Now they are sending me bills telling me that I owe $9,080. because while they were sending me Unemployment Payment...I was still working for that company which is not true. I looked up my employment history on this website and this company still has me down as being employed with them and this is not true! I have asked them to clarify this information but, they have yet to do it. Can I take them to court. The Unemployment Commission is trying to take ME to court.
What can I do?!
